Joixt (“we”, “us”) provides woodworking calculators, cabinet design tools, and cut-list optimization through a web app at joixt.com and a mobile app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address (from sign-up and from your payment processor) and an optional display name.
- Project content — cabinets, cut lists, quotes, shop layouts, inventory entries, and calculator history that you create.
- Subscription metadata — your subscription tier, status, period end, and the Stripe customer ID associated with your account. We do not store credit-card numbers or full payment details; those live with Stripe.
- Product analytics — anonymous-by-default usage events (page views, feature clicks) via PostHog, used to understand which features are useful.
- Error reports — automatic crash and exception telemetry via Sentry. PII scrubbing is enabled.
- Mobile purchases — App Store / Play Store entitlement state via RevenueCat, used to grant in-app features after a successful purchase.
How we use it
Solely to operate the service: render your projects, sync them across devices, gate paid features, send subscription receipts via the payment processor, and debug errors. We do not sell your data and we do not use your project content to train AI models.
Subprocessors
We rely on the following providers to deliver the service. Each is contractually limited to processing data on our behalf:
- Supabase — database + authentication
- Stripe — web payments + subscription billing
- RevenueCat — mobile in-app purchase entitlements
- Vercel — web hosting + delivery
- Fly.io — backend compute for the cut-list optimizer
- PostHog — product analytics
- Sentry — error monitoring
- Apple / Google — mobile app distribution and in-app purchase processing
Retention
We retain your account and project data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (Settings → Delete account), your profile and all associated project content are removed from our primary database within a few seconds. Backup snapshots may retain a copy for up to 30 days before being overwritten on a rolling basis.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time:
- Access & export — your cut lists and quotes are downloadable as PDFs from each project page. Email hello@joixt.com for a full data export.
- Delete — Settings → Delete account triggers immediate, irreversible removal.
- Cancel subscription — Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription opens the Stripe customer portal.
EU/UK/CA residents have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / PIPEDA (access, rectification, restriction, portability, objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority). Email us to exercise any of these.
Children
Joixt is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects how we handle existing user data, we'll notify you by email before the change takes effect.
